Vintage Fred Bear Archery Talisman Leather Hip Quiver Traditional Recurve. Introduced in 1968, this elk leather hip quiver was available from Fred Bear Catalog. Considered the “quick draw holster”, zipper compartment, leg tie-down and 1 1/2” belt tunnel. Pretty hard to find, up to 12 arrow quiver with bear logo(very faded). Only available from 1968 to 1973 and then discontinued. This one ordered in the “western embossed finish”, which is fairly rare. Quiver shows some wear and is overall very nice as seen in pictures. Zipper is a little finicky, sometimes goes all the way down, sometimes stops about halfway. I believe the leather has been treated at some point. Great piece for your collection or to use.
