Beautiful 1926 AL.G.Barnes Double Sided Circus Broadside, Gorilla Joe Martin

Description

This is a 1926 original double sided Broadside for the AL. G. Barnes Circus. Measures 28 by 10 1/2 inches and produced by Erie Litho & Printing Co, Erie, Pa. One side has picture of Al.G. Barnes and Pocahontas at the top, then the next section states Meet The Greatest Movie Star of them all JOE MARTIN himself with an illustration of the Great Gorilla man.-the largest specimen of his kind in all the world. Then some illustrations of the circus acts. The opposite side has a large picture of AL.G. Barnes-originator of the show that's different-3 Trains double length cars, 4 Big Rings and Steel arena. Then comes an illustration of Spectacle show Pocahontas at the court of Queen Anne-An Historical Pageant. And at the bottom are more acts of the show.  some light stains and wrinkles but overall looks nice. The broadside is enclosed in plastic and staples on the sides for protection. If one wants to remove it , it would be easy. Displays great. Someone  dated it in pencil at the bottom 8-27-26.
