THIS AUCTION FEATURES 2 ELVIS PRESLEY ITEMS RELATED TO THE 1ST DAY JAN 8, 1993 ISSUE OF HIS OFFICIAL USPS POSTAGE STAMP. OF COURSE, JANUARY 8 WAS CHOSEN IN 1993 BECAUSE IT WAS ELVIS' BIRTHDAY.  ELVIS WOULD HAVE BEEN 58 ON THAT DAY IN 1993. SOME OF THE STAMPS LEAKED OUT TO THE PUBLIC IN 1992.
ONE ITEM IN THE AUCTION IS THE 12"X12" OFFICIAL 1993 USPS POSTER OF ELVIS STILL SEALED CONTAINING HIS IMAGE AND A 1ST DAY ISSUE STAMP POSTMARKED AT THE GATES OF GRACELAND IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE. IT IS QUALITY HEAVY CARDBOARD AND COULD EASILY BE FRAMED.
THE OTHER ITEM IS A PRISTINE FULL SHEET OF 40 ELVIS 1ST DAY ISSUE STAMPS (NEW AND NEVER USED). OF COURSE, THE 27 YEAR OLD SHEET OF STAMPS COULD STILL BE USED AS REGULAR POSTAGE STAMPS BUT ARE OBVIOUSLY MUCH MORE VALUABLE AS AN ELVIS PRESLEY HISTORICAL COLLECTIBLE THAT WILL CONTINUE TO GAIN VALUE IN DECADES TO COME.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN TOTALLY MINT CONDITION.
